Social network platform Gab announced on Thursday that its integration of Btc pay Server has been completed. Its store now accepts payments in BTC and LTC.

A French member of parliament (MP) says 2019 must be the year of blockchain in France, recommending that the equivalent of around $568 million USD in government funding be diverted to the new technology.

French newspaper Les Echos quotes Mis as saying:-“2018 was year zero for the popularization of blockchain in France. 2019 must be the year of the emergence of the ecosystem.” (Translated from French)

Mis recommends that France direct €500 million, around $568 million USD, of government spending to blockchain technology over the next three years.

President Macron has already committed the equivalent of over $1.5 billion in public spending to develop artificial intelligence (AI) technology by 2022.

4.Coinbase Launches Free Instant Withdrawals to PayPal for U.S. Customers

Crypto exchange Coinbase announced that from today its U.S. customers could make free instant USD withdrawals to their PayPal account.

Coinbase has implemented PayPal support, U.S. customers can withdraw Coinbase balances instantly to PayPal without having to pay a 1.49% withdrawal fee (which they would need to pay if they were sending their money to a U.S. bank account).
